The public services Department implements a cleaning up campaign in collaboration with the Clean UAE campaign

The Department of Public Services and WMA one of its agencies , organized a clean-up campaign titled "Barna Amana ". The campaign came under the slogan to be part of the change as an expression of the need to maintain the cleanliness of the land and desert sands. More than 269 people of different nationalities participated in the campaign. H.E. Eng. Ahmed Mohammed Al Hammadi, director general of Public Services Department , said: "The campaign of BarnaAmana secretariat aims to provide a clean and safe environment free from waste to remain sustainable to keep the desert sands clean and reach as many audiences as possible to make them aware of the importance of maintaining ". As noted, trips and excursions abound in the winter months to desert areas, called land, and it was necessary to launch a clean-up campaign for these areas to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of these areas. The campaign was attended by many private government agencies and educational institutions of all ages and nationalities, where the total number of participants reached (25), to receive this campaign a lot of welcome and participation. Security and safety equipment were distributed to participants, such as masks, gloves and so on, and all security and safety measures were taken from the presence of a medical team, police patrols and an ambulance. The final report of the campaign brought together about 340 kg of residues in the target area. The campaign was launched for a month from 25/1/2019 to 25/2/2019 in the form of a campaign every week, where there will be a campaign on 7/2/2019 and a campaign on the date of 21/2/2019, which also aims to participate and collaborate with other entities and companies.
