The Public services Department in Ras Al Khaimah increased the percentage of wastewater treated in cosmetic crops and gardens to 70%, revealing new plans to increase the use rate by 10% annually, to meet the increasing demand for this water in the cosmetic agriculture sector. He added: There is a growing need for treated wastewater and for cosmetic implants, to serve the horizontal expansions of green surfaces on the streets, rotors and gardens, as well as nurseries that the department decided to create for ornamental plants, including a nursery in Khuzam area. The Director general of PSD in Ras Al Khaimah confirmed that there are plans to implement three new wastewater treatment plants, which will be allocated to the housing Mud project, which has completed about 95% of the size of its network, and will use the treated water from this project in the irrigation of green flats and gardens That will be included in this huge housing project, which is being implemented in three phases in Ras Al Khaimah, and includes more than 1,000 dwellings, praised in cooperation with the Ministry of Infrastructure Development in the implementation of joint projects for the benefit of the people. He said the department plans to raise the percentage of water used to irrigate green flats by 10% annually, reaching 100% over the next three years, noting that there are significant global successes in the treatment, recycling and reuse of wastewater.
