about 2 million gallons of rain-affected areas have been withdrawn

The emergency team of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah succeeded in withdrawing large amounts of water left by heavy rains in the streets and lowland areas of the emirate, and the department revealed its dealings with 126 communications over the past two days. The torrential rains in the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah, al-Dhait, Khuzam, and the Golan and the RMS were concentrated in the northern regions, up to Khor Khoer, Glila, sha'am and al jaeer. For their part, farmers in Ras Al Khaimah confirmed that the high rainfall and its persistence to this time of the year restores life to natural areas, which are often green after the fall of the rains shortly, and also contribute to support the agricultural sector and increase the production of vegetables and fruits, along with the enhancement of the groundwater reservoir of fresh water. Ahmed Hamad al-Shehhi, chairman of the Emergency Committee of the PSD, said the committee has opened up roads that have stopped traffic, either as a result of its valleys or the accumulation of water, especially in low-lying areas, noting that the committee's emergency teams continue to work on withdrawing water from Streets, removing some trees that fell due to severe winds. He added: So far, about 2 million gallons of rain-affected areas have been withdrawn in al-Dhait, Khozam, and the Golan Heights, where the district has received 126 reports of rain. The area of Mount Jess in the emirate saw the flow of Wadi al-Bayh, along with many mountain reefs, and temperatures fell below their rates at this time of year, according to the National Meteorological Center.
