The Department of Public Services, represented by the General Pest Control Department, announced its precautionary measures and plans to control public pests after the rains during the last period, and intensified its efforts through its program aimed at preserving the environment and public safety.
Winter is a breeding season for insects and mosquitoes. A team of 15 engineers, technicians and specialists were formed, and the specialized team was sent to spray safe pesticides and harmless bacteria on the pools of water clustered in residential neighborhoods and some areas of the emirate, such as Gulfar, Popular Rashid, Al-Ana, Rams street and parks, where he arrived The number of reports in those areas is 75. Savas Otton, director of the Department's Animal Welfare and Pest Control Center, said the public pest control service can be requested by calling 8008118 or the personal attendance of the Customer Happiness Center. Otton said the department is in the process of controlling public pests to cover the rest of the emirate.
