The Public Services Department, in Ras Al Khaimah, confirmed that it is intensifying control of the beaches, with increased public demand during the summer, where the department's "Raqib" patrols educate the public on the need to preserve the sea shores, and not pollute them by dumping debris in other areas.
The Director of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah, Eng. Ahmed Al Hammadi, said that 3,193 environmental violations have been released since the beginning of this year, most notably throwing, placing or leaving dirt in public squares, throwing leaves, trash and cigarette butts in the roads and fields of the car, leaving livestock and loose animals in public places, and that the most violations were concentrated in the area of Jabal Jess, followed by al-Maamoura, , then Ras Al Khaimah, and the distribution of "Raqib" patrols by geographical division of the emirate in seven areas, including the emirate.
Al Hammadi stressed the keenness of the department, represented in the "Watch" patrols, on the natural environment, which is one of the advantages of Ras Al Khaimah.
