Ras Al Khaimah Services teams deployed across the emirate

The Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah has mobilized the efforts of its teams to work in full swing to contain the weather situation that prevails in the emirate without exception, which includes the distribution of tanker vehicles and water collection pumps and receiving reports during the rainy period. ENG. Khalid bin Fadl Al-Ali, Director General of the Department, explained that the efforts of the employees are continuous and continuous through periodic follow-up from each of its four agencies , concerted efforts to accomplish the plans and objectives of the Department, pointing out that the Department distributed 20 disguised vehicles and 9 pumps in the Julfar area, and received a report regarding the fall of a number of trees in one of the regions of the emirate, not to mention the efforts made and prepared in advance for the coming days. He said that the Department, represented by the Works Agency , has previously completed and implemented the main works for the construction of rainwater and groundwater drainage networks and raised the efficiency of existing networks, to increase their capacity during the rainy season, develop water pumping stations, prevent rainwater accumulation, control and control the groundwater level, and prevent its access to the surface within the areas and neighborhoods of the emirate such as Khuzam, Al Dhait, Dahan, Maarid (Hilton Resort site), Sheikh Mohammed Bin Salem Street (Cove Rotana Hotel), Al Qawasim Corniche, Fish Market, and Shaam areas ( Next to the hospital), and Rams (popular Rashid). He said the department did not exclude vallies and dams from maintenance work, which included the Wadi Shiha, Kham dams and the road leading to Jebel Jais. Earlier, 250,000 square meters of concrete works were completed on Al-Shuhada Road with the aim of protecting roads from neighboring valleys, runoff, and road erosion due to the intensity of the valley's waters.
